After years of finding it very difficult to define exactly what Claromentis does - in terms of setting the boundaries of what software and services we provide - we concluded this week that we provide "A web platform for your business"
I do like this. It is simple, genuine and reflects the fact that the Claromentis framework and significant codebase really does provide a platform - onto which we can add any custom web apps that a customer needs. Previously we had become hung up on our diverse product set - intranets, information management, e-forms and a myriad of others - combined with our custom development teams.
It does produce a tangible sense of relief when finally you can clearly define what you do as a business. With appraisals and objecives starting now for the financial year it will be interesting to see how this knowledges supports or changes the individual objectives we set.
