At Claromentis we provide collaboration and information management solutions for companies around the world, so unsurprisingly we all contribute to networked sites on a personal basis.
Of course our company blog on intranet software is where we discuss collaboration issues in that space, but as individuals we do have a presence on many other social networking sites.
To date I am disappointed to say I have found very little value in these supposedly business orientated social networking sites. I don't gain any value from being approached by people I don't know, and have had few interactions with any meaningful value.
Is it just me?
A blog about my life - only marginally including developing and marketing Claromentis Intranet Software. I also love languages, travel, business in general, burgundy wine, cryptic crosswords and a whole bunch of other things.. Outstanding Productivity
We all read so much about productivity. But when you work with someone who just has it you truly understand what it means.
Today I posted on our company Blog about a recent experience with Michael Christian, one of my co-directors at Claromentis. The post is about the amazing potential of our space - commercially supported but open source extendable intranet software. My blog is as always very honest.
However on reflection I decided that actually, the rapid movement from idea to resourcing, allocation and implementation all without any further prompting is just down to what a truly exceptional individual Mike is. Yes an open source environment is naturally fast, there are fewer barriers in the way for innovative individuals - but at the end of the day an exceptionally productive person is just that - exceptional and productive.
