Intranet content, delivery channels, content and content again

Companies we work in the early stages are concerned so much with technology – does our intranet software do this, the other and does it do that –the answer in recent times is always yes, yes and yes – that in extreme cases they launch projects with an almost total disregard for the actual content.

This is such a project risk, and we are working hard to correct this for all new clients. We now have a service to physically create and launch the finished phase one intranet – with all the files, permissions, delivery channels – blogs, application files, on line applications, pages and forums for example – researched, launched and populated for all departments and stakeholders.

Personally I feel this is something almost all of our new clients should take up – so that when they invest in Claromentis intranet technology they will deliver the solution they were looking for within the project time lines. Those that don’t risk that challenge of having so much technology available, but no resources to actually get what they really want – a solution – with high user acceptance – in a matter of weeks not years.
